The soon-to-be former Governor of the great state of Alaska... Sarah Palin took a bold public stand against soft-tyranny and more taxation... and for more energy independence for America. In an op-ed she had published in the Washington Post, this Hockey-Mom stood her ground, balled up her fist and hit our Marxist President squaaarrr on the chin... and knocked his Cap and Tax policies to he ground.

I've been praising this lady since she first came riding into the national spotlight during the Presidential election of last year. With all due respect to the man who absolutely earned the title of "War Hero," I was really voting for Palin... cause she brought the fire to the campaign I hadn't seen in the Republican Party in many...... many.... years. The more I discovered, learned and found out about her... I truly believe she could be a great President. Just take a look at her life... her accomplishments reveal ambition, drive and attitude... and she appears to be the closest thing to a REAL leader we've seen in a long time. She speaks the words of a true Conservative..... and a true Patriot.

There are so many horrible, vitriolic, hateful Leftists out there, as well as many in the "moderate" conservative media camps... all of whom have been attacking this woman from day one and continue to attack her on a daily basis....... because she's beautiful, her family is "normal", she "chose" life over abortion, because she kills animals with guns, because she's from a small town, because she's got an accent or she's a diva, spends too much on clothes, she's a "slutty flight attendant" who buys crack in New York with a wink and then allows her 14-year-old daughter to be raped by a baseball player at Yankee Stadium... or blah blah blah blah blah....... these people are simply scared. They defile the woman and her family with words because they think themselves superior. They're all terrified by her.... why else would they attack her so viciously. They're deathly afraid of her and what kind of response she gets from the "common folk."

And as far as I'm concerned... they damn well should afraid of her.

One Black's Opinion on Obama

Dr. Anne Wortham is the author of "The Other Side of Racism: A Philosophical Study of Black Race Consciousness".

She is also Associate Professor of Sociology at Illinois State University and a continuing Visiting Scholar at Stanford University 's Hoover Institution. She is also a member of the American Sociological Association and the American Philosophical Association. And she's black.

The following is a letter she wrote to her fellow Americans, in November of 2008.....

Fellow Americans,

Please know: I am black; I grew up in the segregated South. I did not vote for Barack Obama; I wrote in Ron Paul's name as my choice for president. Most importantly, I am not race conscious. I do not require a black president to know that I am a person of worth, and that life is worth living. I do not require a black president to love the ideal of America.

I cannot join you in your celebration. I feel no elation. There is no smile on my face. I am not jumping with joy. There are no tears of triumph in my eyes. For such emotions and behavior to come from me, I would have to deny all that I know about the requirements of human flourishing and survival - all that I know about the history of the United States of America, all that I know about American race relations, and all that I know about Barack Obama as a politician. I would have to deny the nature of the "change" that Obama asserts has come to America. Most importantly, I would have to abnegate my certain understanding that you have chosen to sprint down the road to serfdom that we have been on for over a century. I would have to pretend that individual liberty has no value for the success of a human life. I would have to evade your rejection of the slender reed of capitalism on which your success and mine depend. I would have to think it somehow rational that 94 percent of the 12 million blacks in this country voted for a man because he looks like them (that blacks are permitted to play the race card), and that they were joined by self-declared "progressive" whites who voted for him because he doesn't look like them. I would have to be wipe my mind clean of all that I know about the kind of people who have advised and taught Barack Obama and will fill posts in his administration - political intellectuals like my former colleagues at the Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.

I would have to believe that "fairness" is equivalent of justice. I would have to believe that man who asks me to "go forward in a new spirit of service, in a new service of sacrifice" is speaking in my interest. I would have to accept the premise of a man that economic prosperity comes from the "bottom up," and who arrogantly believes that he can will it into existence by the use of government force. I would have to admire a man who thinks the standard of living of the masses can be improved by destroying the most productive and the generators of wealth.

Finally, Americans, I would have to erase from my consciousness the scene of 125,000 screaming, crying, cheering people in Grant Park, Chicago irrationally chanting "Yes We Can!" Finally, I would have to wipe all memory of all the times I have heard politicians, pundits, journalists, editorialists, bloggers and intellectuals declare that capitalism is dead - and no one, including especially Alan Greenspan, objected to their assumption that the particular version of the anti-capitalistic mentality that they want to replace with their own version of anti-capitalism is anything remotely equivalent to capitalism.

So you have made history, Americans. You and your children have elected a black man to the office of the president of the United States, the wounded giant of the world. The battle between John Wayne and Jane Fonda is over - and that Fonda won. Eugene McCarthy and George McGovern must be very happy men. Jimmie Carter, too. And the Kennedys have at last gotten their Kennedy look-a-like. The self-righteous welfare statists in the suburbs can feel warm moments of satisfaction for having elected a black person. So, toast yourselves: 60s counter culture radicals, 80s yuppies and 90s bourgeois bohemians. Toast yourselves, Black America. Shout your glee Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Duke, Stanford, and Berkeley. You have elected not an individual who is qualified to be president, but a black man who, like the pragmatist Franklin Roosevelt, promises to - Do Something! You now have someone who has picked up the baton of Lyndon Johnson's Great Society. But you have also foolishly traded your freedom and mine - what little there is left - for the chance to feel good. There is nothing in me that can share your happy obliviousness.

Pray for our Nation and our Troops

The framers... the Founding Fathers... the minds who forged a nation

Right now it seems there are only two types of Americans standing up and fighting for freedom and liberty anymore. True Patriots... and those brave individuals in the Military.

Since September 11, 2001... Patriotism has become a religion for me. Love for my country, the ideals of the founding fathers, the history of how far we as a nation have come... in the name of liberty for all... the great experiment has gone through some very dark days only to emerge a stronger nation collectively.

Some argue that all rights should have been given to all people from the get-go... but i believe that's a naive mentality that suggests that during times so diametrically different than the times we live in today, as far as culture and ways and means... that we could have up and destroyed everything everyone knew at that time... over night. The world simply doesn't work that way. It took much toil, carnage, blood and pain to forge this nation at all... our tattered and ragtag bunch of militia and regular army stood against the greatest military force in the world at that time... and 25,000 warriors lost their lives... another 25,000 were wounded and maimed... and have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence?

-- Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died.
-- Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned.
-- Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army; another had two sons captured.
-- Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War.


They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. And what kind of men were they?

-- Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists.
-- Eleven were merchants.
-- Nine were farmers and large plantation owners.


Men of means, well educated, but they signed the Declaration of Independence knowing full well that the penalty would be death if they were captured.

Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and trader, saw his ships swept from the seas by the
British Navy. He sold his home and properties to pay his debts, and died in rags.

Thomas McKeam was so hounded by the British that he was forced to move his family almost constantly. He served in the Congress without pay, and his family was kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him, and poverty was his reward.

Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall, Clymer, Walton, Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton.

At the battle of Yorktown , Thomas Nelson, Jr., noted that the British General Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson home for his headquarters. He quietly urged General George Washington to open fire. The home was destroyed, and Nelson died bankrupt.

Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed. The enemy jailed his wife, and she died within a few months.

John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying. Their 13 children fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests and caves, returning home to find his wife dead and his children vanished.

American Pride... American Determination... American Strength

And all of this blood and sacrifice was made in order that we as a new nation might have a chance to go forward and flourish... and perhaps someday work further on the rights for all. As we have done... time and time again. The black slaves were emancipated and set free... with the deaths of over 620,000 Americans... and the wounding and maiming of another 420,000. The men who gave their lives and limbs and spilled their blood to free the blacks from slavery were mostly white men. A fact people tend to forget these days.

And in the name of freedom and liberty around the world... America showed their might and sacrificed many in World War I, giving almost 120,000 men in the name of freedom... and World War II where we gave over 420,000 men in the name of freedom...

And today... we've got 4000 of our elite... the U.S. Marines stomping their way across Afghanistan... and we've already lost one, God rest his soul, fighting the Islamic Fascists on their own turf... fighting for our freedom and our liberty from the Islamic hordes who wish every living American dead. And by the end of this year we will have 68,000 American troops stationed again in Afghanistan. Half of what we're bringing home from Iraq.

Marines.... doing what they do best

So, take a few minutes while you enjoy our nation's birthday... and pray for our nation... and our troops... and silently thank these patriots from the past who gave their lives and blood for our right to drink beer and shoot off fire-works. Freedom is Never Free!

Pray for our nation... and hope it's not taken too far down the darkened path we now seem to be on. For it should be known and said loudly... Patriotism is not a sin... and despite what our President thinks... America IS a force for good, and if we are brought down to the level of the Banana Republics run by smiling dictators... there will be no more shining beacon on the hill for people to come to. We will be no longer be the exceptional nation created 233 years ago.

My fellow Patriots... pray for our nation... for we shall overcome.

Let us not fall into ruin..... let us fight the Marxist Fascist ideas which will destroy us... freedom is not free

Remember and Honor the Sacrifice

If it weren't for the American forces who stormed the beaches at Normandy... we would all be speaking German right now. It's a damn shame that a mere 65 years later this great nation... the same nation that liberated Europe from Totalitarianism... now has a leader with the same tyrannical ideals as those we destroyed in World War II.

But putting our Marxist president aside for one day, we need to honor all of those Americans who fought, killed and died for our freedoms... June 6, 1944.

If you're too young to know, or you've been indoctrinated by the Socialist run government school system into believing America's greatness is a myth... or possibly you've just come out of some kind of Kool-Aid induced hippie haze and you've suddenly discovered that your freedom isn't free... it's time to learn more about America's Victory over tyranny...

But I thought Justice was supposed to be blind...?

The woman who was nominated for the U.S. Supreme Court... by our affirmative-action president... was chosen for her gender, her race, her sob-story of working her way up to judgeship in this horribly oppressive and racist country called America... but most importantly, she was chosen for her whacked-out, radically-Statist ideological views and judicial activism. This horrible racist nation, which allows her to freely speak her own racist thoughts. This free nation which has allowed her the opportunities to become what she is... a Supreme Court Nominee... this is the same nation she wishes to help our messiah-president dismantle one Constitutional freedom at a time.

I'm completely perplexed by these people who've been to college... graduated... gone on to law school... spent a hundred-fifty... maybe two-hundred grand on a law degree... and yet... still cannot tell the difference between the three branches of government. I mean geez... I remember learning that stuff on School House Rock.




Reasons for concern...

* Sotomayor's decisions have been reversed almost every time her cases have reached the Supreme Court. Four out of Five.
* She has admitted -- on tape -- to supporting an activist judicial philosophy, saying "Court of Appeals is where policy is made."
* She has been accused of engaging in identity politics (which are almost always motivated by bias), saying "I ... accept that our experiences as women and people of color affect our decisions. The aspiration to impartiality is just that--it's an aspiration because it denies the fact that we are by our experiences making different choices than others."
* Some believe her identity as a Hispanic woman has clouded her vision on racially-charged issues. As in 2008, she dismissed -- with just a single paragraph -- a blatantly obvious case of discrimination became a lawsuit filed by 19 white firefighters (and one Hispanic one), who believed they had been unfairly overlooked for promotions simply because of the color of their skin. (In a dissenting opinion, one of Sotomayor's fellow judges -- and a fellow Hispanic -- Judge Jose Carbanes, said Sotomayor's opinion ignored the facts of the case.)


But she will be confirmed... and she will help Obama in his efforts to fix our "flawed" nation. Sotomayor is change we can believe in. Racism from blacks and Hispanics is tolerated... because white people are evil and have kept the black president and the Hispanic Supreme Court nominee down.

Ignoring the Gathering Storm

Ever since the Statists anointed their token black president... the Muslim-sympathizing messiah of hope... all the "Kum-ba-ya" zombies who follow their false-prophet of "change we can believe in," now seem to be wearing big, thick, marketing-campaign-covered-glasses whenever they look at the sky. They see nothing but bright sunshine, rainbows, chirping blue-birds, flying unicorns and economic justice for everyone... while those of us who stayed away from the Chicago thugs handing out the Kool-Aid... we look to a darkening sky and can plainly see a thunderous storm brewing.

Most of us in the "fly-over" states... bitterly clinging to our guns, our Constitution, and deep-rooted Patriotism... those of us who honor our military, American ingenuity, property rights, and the free-market invisible hand... we, who actually do most of the working, toiling, and earning (and job-losing) in this country... we can all see the gathering storm on the nation's horizon.



Those of us who are diligently well-informed, those of us who make the attempt to look to solve our nation's economic and foreign-policy problems, using logic, reason, and fact... instead of basing our opinions on emotional response and racist rhetoric. We can see the storm as plain as the premature graying of the new president's hair... that America is being forced back down a pre-9/11 path, which will inevitably result in more pain, more trauma, and certainly a lot more death... for all Americans.

I watched a National Geographic documentary last night... even though Nat/Geo is usually pretty Leftist when it comes to environment and energy... the intellectually honest reporting in the two part, four hour series they produced entitled... "Inside 9/11" was very well done... and sure it took a few subtle swipes at George W., it also portrayed in detail how the Clinton administration completely dropped the ball. (We all know Slick-Willie, the abuser of women, was too busy gettin' his freak-on, and trying desperately to cover it up, to notice the gathering al-Qaeda storm at that time.) But Nat/Geo did a good job at time-lining the events which lead up to that fateful day... as well as that minute by minute account of this horrible act of war upon American civilians. And what this documentary did for me was help me remember what kinds of cowards we had running our country in the 1990's, what kind of bone-headed walls they kept up between the various intelligence agencies, in order to cover-up more of Slick-Willie's dealings... and also, and even more importantly... it concreted what I think of the ivy-league-pin-head-cowards we have running our executive branch today.

Now you can hate on George W. Bush and Dick Cheney all you want... but the bold-faced fact remains... we haven't been hit on our soil since September 11, 2001. And it's because we had deliberate men in charge... not tyrant-terrorist-sympathizers. If you can't tell the difference between these two radically different ideologies... appeasement and peace through strength... I suggest you remember the cries of the three-thousand Americans who died on that September morning... on our soil.



Factually..... which side keeps the American people safe....? Appeasement... or Peace through Strength...?
