The concept of Double-Think.... as portrayed in George Orwell's brilliant novel, "1984"... is the act of simultaneously accepting, as correct, two mutually contradictory beliefs. In other words..... you can hold two completely different opinions and actually justify either. Many people would also call this... hypocrisy.
When asked about the legitimate arrest of Harvard Professor, Henry Louis Gates, a black man, by a white police officer, Gates claims was racist.... President Obama said first.... "Skip Gates is a friend, so I may be a little biased here," and then he said very clearly , "I don't know all the facts," and then went on to say, "I don't know, not having been there and not knowing all the facts, what role race played in that, but I think it's fair to say that, number one, any of us would be pretty angry, (who does he mean by 'us')... number two, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly when there was already proof that they were in their own home," (Gates was arrested outside of his own home) And then the halfrican President went on to play the race card.
Point is...... the President first stated he didn't know the facts... but then did a 180 and said the cops acted "stupidly." This is a very clear-cut example of the Double-Think mentality that our President suffers from. He can tell us he doesn't know the facts... but because he's black, and the "victim" was black... and because every one knows that all white cops are racist..... the ENTIRE Cambridge Police Department acted STUPIDLY.
Later.... the President actually said... "I could have calibrated my words better." Calibrated.... in other words... he could have contrived them better...?
This is pathetic....... a black elitist professor from a raging Leftist ivy-league, exclusionary preaching college, starts crying wolf where there is no wolf, and the President of the United States, because the professor is his crony, decides to display his ability to hold two completely different opinions and justify either. Don't know the facts... but the cops were stupid. This is a sad world we live in folks. Our President spent 20 years in Rev. Wrights, Black-Nationalist, anti-White, anti-American, "church" and we're all expected to ignore the giant racial chip on his shoulder. He, and his militant wife, OBVIOUSLY have a problem with white people, and they hold the same tired old racist beliefs carried over from the civil-rights movements, that only white people can be racist.
It's time to for the blacks in America to quit hating on whitey. Stop assuming all of us are racist..... and adhere to the words of Martin Luther King... instead of just repeating them. It's about content of character... NOT the color of skin. The white officer has an impeccable record, and even teaches a class to new police recruits on how to avoid racial profiling. The professor of "black studies" also has a chip on his shoulder and he cried wolf at people who were simply doing their job... trying to protect HIS property as a matter of fact. Just look at the first person to bring up race in this situation... and that's your racist. The professor yelled at the cop for simply requesting his ID... "why cause I'm a black man in America?" Well guess what professor.... it's kinda hard to "stick it to the man," when your people ARE THE MAN NOW...!
Black racism towards whites goes on every day all over the country.... but it's hardly ever reported. It's much too easy to just hate the white man and blame him for all the sins of the past. Until blacks accept true "TOLERANCE" and follow the concepts all of us were supposed to have learned from MLK..... there will be no amicable "race relations," in America.
